cone-shaped bag of cloth, nylon or plastic with a tube at the small end into which a nozzle is fitted. Used to deposit soft mixtures such as paste, icing, cream or other fillings on to baking sheets, or to pipe them on to a product for decorative purposes. Also called a pastry bag or Savoy bag.
