Bread maker Cinnamon Buns

Created by adapted from
The bun mixture is made in the bread maker on the dough setting so its easy to put the ingredients in the bread maker and get on with other jobs while these ingredients mix together. These are definitely very cinnamon flavoured buns so you can always add a little less cinnamon if you prefer. You could also add some drained stewed apples to the filling or dried fruit for some variations. The glaze is an optional extra you can add after baking.

3 cups all-purpose white flour

3 tablespoons white sugar

34 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons yeast

1 cup milk

3 tablespoons water

1 egg, beaten

14 cup butter

34 cup packed brown sugar

3 teaspoons cinnamon

2 tablespoons softened butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

Turn the bread maker on to the dough setting and leave to mix.

When the dough is done, transfer it to a lightly floured surface.

Using a rolling pin roll the dough out to approx. 1-2 cms thick

Place the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar in the microwave and heat for 20seconds until the butter melts.
Stir the mixture to combine.
