Cinnamon & Chocolate Chip Waffles
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
125g butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and blend together with a hand mixer. Process until smoothly combined.
Heat a waffle iron and spray with non-stick baking spray.
Cook waffles until dark golden brown and crisp.
Keep warm in a low oven while you cook the remainder of the batch.
To serve, place 1 or 2 waffles on a plate.
Top with your favourite toppings.
We added frozen blueberries and maple syrup.
