New features reduce waste for high-speed biscuit sandwiching
Bakeryandsnacks.com (04/12/08) reported that Baker Perkins has added new features to the largest of it’s biscuit sandwiching machines, designed to reduce downtime and wastage. The new features to the machine which can produce up to 4,800 cream filled biscuits per minute include connected pusher pins via chains and enhanced stabilising features. These features should ensure more reliable positioning of cream fillings and more accurate placing of the top biscuit.
