With a BSc(Hons), majoring in Nutrition, from Otago University and more than 20 years experience in the biscuit and snackfood industry I now work as an independent consultant to the food industry. My key areas of interest are research and development, quality management systems, nutrition and labelling, and project facilitation.
I am currently contracted to BIRT in the roles of Secretary and Research Liaison. Having previously represented Griffins Foods on the committee I have a good appreciation for the work it carries out. I enjoy working with both research and industry groups to ensure that each understands the other and that optimum outcomes are achieved.
